As women we try to take stands against misogyny in our daily lives, and that often includes the music we hear on the radio. Remember when everyone was going “Why does Avril Lavigne hate this guy’s girlfriend so much?” In music by female artists, you’ll see a lot of lyrics slut-shaming other women and the like, which is totally a product of internalized misogyny. We’re taught to not be “promiscuous” and to bash girls who are, and it’s something we all have to unlearn. But if we’re being REALLY honest, some songs are just too damn good to fight.

Here’s our guilty pleasure playlist for when a song is so good we just gotta turn off our feminism.
